Responsibility


  • responsible for setting up police forces on services across the platform
  • responsible for assuring and managing the release of auxiliary and atypical sites on the platform
  • managing hypercare and fixing issues
  • responsible for implementing and managing release processes for services
  • responsible for managing and maintaining the release schedule
  • upskilling additional resources for the release process to cover any absences
  • working with DPC team to deliver releases
  • communication to forces in the lead up to and on day of releases
  • responsible for assuring and releasing service changes implementing changes as well as managing the change control process working with the service management team

  • drive process and occupational safety in the plants and ensure all relevant actions are taken to protect colleagues from harm
  • ensure products are manufactured according to company manufacturing and quality procedures
  • maximise productivity, efficiency and utilisation of the specified plants and manage improvement programmes. Report productivity against agreed timescales and drive improvements
  • responsible for the fixed cost budget, develop cost savings initiatives and work with your team to deliver agreed goals and costings
  • to ensure that the plants under control operate in line with all HSE legislations and Environmental Agency permits, company policies and standards , including ensuring HAZOPS are carried out and actions completed
  • be available and capable to act as Senior Person during site incidents as a part of the site emergency response call out system
  • ensure development plans are in place in line for colleagues with succession plans for the plant established
  • work with the Planners, Customer Services and Product Managers to achieve competitive lead time performance and ensure customer delivery commitments are met. Drive improvements in schedule adherence KPIs
  • manage Cost and Yield variances of manufactured products on a day-to-day basis and ensure slow moving and sub stocks are managed efficiently by safe blending. Produce weekly reports on stock reduction progress
  • supervise and maintain a high standard of responsible care within the areas of direct responsibility and ensure a high standard of housekeeping and continuous improvement programme are in place and regularly monitored
