Responsibility


  • conduct one-on-one online tutoring sessions in your chosen subject
  • tailor your teaching approach to meet the individual learning needs of each student
  • provide clear explanations of concepts, assist with problem-solving, and offer guidance on study techniques
  • track and monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
  • communicate effectively with students, parents, and the Connex Education team
  • deliver online tutoring sessions to primary or secondary school students, using materials provided by the NTP programme
  • plan and prepare sessions in advance, taking into account the individual needs of each student
  • provide regular feedback and progress reports to students, parents and schools
  • attend training sessions and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills as a tutor
  • adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times

  • the NTP aims to make high-quality tutoring available to schools to reduce the impact that closures and lockdowns have had on children’s education over the pandemic
  • an experienced Science Teacher with QTS or equivalent
  • demonstrable history of making positive interventions at KS3 and/or KS4
  • we need your help to get pupils affected by the pandemic back on track
  • you’ll be working as a Qualified Tutor at a challenging but rewarding alternative provision based in Waltham Forest. The school is looking for a teacher who is experienced in delivering targeted interventions at KS3 and KS4 in Science
  • experience delivering targeted interventions in Maths across multiple-year groups
  • enthusiasm and creativity when delivering targeted lessons to groups of up to 3 students
