Responsibility


  • developing and delivering lessons and learning activities that are tailored to the specific needs of each individual student
  • creating and maintaining Individual Education Plans for each student and provide regular progress updates to parents and guardians
  • monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed to ensure maximum learning and engagement
  • working collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • attending and contributing to regular meetings with parents, guardians, and external professionals involved in the care of each student
  • develop and implement Individual Education Plans for pupils with SEN, ensuring their specific needs are met
  • create engaging and inclusive lesson plans that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles
  • utilise various teaching strategies and resources to differentiate instruction and support pupil progress
  • regularly assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
  • collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to create a supportive network around the pupil
  • maintain accurate records of pupil progress and participate in SEN reviews and meetings

  • teaching a group of 9 students who all have a diagnosis of ASD and have severely delayed communication and learning
