Requirements

  • minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • must have worked within the direct mail or transactional print arena
  • strong IT skills
  • can do attitude
  • you must be able to work as a member of the team
  • you will need a current and valid CPCS card
  • any of the following qualifications would be an additional benefit; street works; abrasive wheels, Lifting Ops and manual handling
  • fit for work would be desirable
  • competently operate the company’s CNC machines
  • competently set up and operate the company’s CNC machines
  • £13.01 per hour
  • complete in-process inspection sheets during production batches
  • undertake routine maintenance and safety checks of equipment in use
  • £18.08 per hour
  • once you are considered suitably trained and experienced you will be expected to train colleagues in the same processes
  • 4 day working week- Friday , Saturday, Sunday, Monday
  • 4 day working week- Mon - Thur / Tue - Fri alternating each week
  • double day shift pattern - early/ late shifts alternating each week
  • ensure the general tidiness and good housekeeping of personal and shared workspaces

Responsibility

  • to support the supervisor in the smooth running of the team and undertake support tasks as directed
  • responsible in setting up and running state of the art mailing machines
  • ensuring that there is a continuous supply of stock to provide an unbroken production run
  • carry out QA checks and ensure that they match the signed samples, and they are recorded onto appropriate documentation
  • filling out paperwork to a high level of accuracy and legibility
  • ensuring speed and quality of work is maintained
  • good time keeping and attendance must be maintained
  • ensure all work is accurate and consistent throughout the run and regularity monitored for defects
