Requirements

  • running your own projects: 3 years
  • minimum of 3yrs experience in both Hard and Soft Landscaping
  • full UK driving license
  • A passion for Landscape, Construction & design
  • good strength in communication skills

  • good lateral thinking/problem solving & a flexibility in approach to work
  • formal qualifications and evidence of training in Landscaping
  • previous experience in running projects
  • landscaping: 3 years
  • previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field preferred
  • knowledge of groundskeeping practices and techniques
  • mechanical knowledge to operate power tools and equipment safely
  • ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • reliable, organised, hard-working
  • logical and methodical with attention to detail
  • you will also be required to demonstrate the ability to multi-task whilst working autonomously, in a physically demanding environment

Responsibility

  • ensure documentation is maintained throughout the project and returned to Contract Manager at pre determined intervals and on completion
  • develop and maintain appropriate and effective communication with your team, client representative and Contract & Project Manager
  • in conjunction with Operations Support Technician, Maintain project plant, vehicles and equipment in a safe, serviceable condition in accordance with Company Procedures
  • clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
  • ensure an on-time arrival on site, along with all relevant tools, materials and equipment required to effectively undertake the required groundworks
  • undertake surveys where required to assess site requirements
  • to liaise in a professional manner with customers so that they are always kept informed
  • to effectively communicate with suppliers and other members of the organisation to ensure efficiency is maintained
  • arrange maintenance of any company property, equipment, machinery, and tools used, to ensure safe and effective usage
  • undertake paperwork in an appropriate and timely way as required
