Responsibility

  • ensure documentation is maintained throughout the project and returned to Contract Manager at pre determined intervals and on completion
  • develop and maintain appropriate and effective communication with your team, client representative and Contract & Project Manager
  • in conjunction with Operations Support Technician, Maintain project plant, vehicles and equipment in a safe, serviceable condition in accordance with Company Procedures
  • complete all Hard Landscaping tasks at each job to a high standard
  • be able to work alongside our foreman and other staff to complete each job as planned
  • dig and prepare each area we are building on to the parameters needed
  • turn up to our yard on time Mon-Fri and keep yourself and your van presentable
  • operate power tools safely to assist in building and maintaining landscape features
  • conduct routine inspections of landscaped areas to identify any issues or areas needing attention
  • collaborate with team members to ensure all duties are completed efficiently
  • working with team leaders to deliver key domestic landscaping projects on time and on budget
  • be able to work in a team of 2 - 5 landscapers on site
  • understand design drawings and set out sites and levels
  • ability to problem solve
  • ensure you and your work mates adhere to H&S guidelines and wear correct PPE
  • experience of using Plant Machinery safely
  • excellent knowledge of laying all types of paving, setts, and stone
  • experience in blockwork, brickwork and retaining walls
  • excellence in constructing decking, fencing and timber structures
  • knowledge of shrub and tree planting
