self-motivated, works well as part of a team and alone
must be willing to work overtime during busy periods and carry out weekend watering duties on rotation
can carry out physical work in all weathers
practical handy/DIY skills would be an advantage

day-to-day responsibility of spraying crops on the site
to identify and act upon on P&D issues
mix, load, and apply pesticides onto fields in accordance with label required rates and procedures
to have an understanding and experience of Biological controls and applications on Hardy nursery stock
calibrate sprayers and chemical application equipment
proactively identify crop issues in the field while spraying and communicate observations to line managers
safely operate agricultural equipment and vehicles
provide engaging and safe work sessions for Co-workers
assist in the scheduling of daily work planning to provide meaningful work experience while balancing the needs of customers
complete garden team contracts to a high standard, lone working with Co-workers
follow Garden Team daily schedule and keep accurate electronic records
work in line with The Trust’s values and ethos
maintain The Prospects Trust’s image and reputation internally and externally
work alongside Co-workers outdoors in all weathers
work onsite at Snakehall Farm
support the active production of crops, products and services of The Trust
