Responsibility

to be responsible for allocated ground maintenance tasks from start to completion, including scoping the task, pricing and ordering materials, liaising with the customer, undertaking the work personally or co-ordinating and supervising others to ensure timely completion
to support match day operations
delivery of high-quality grounds maintenance service to all sites to the highest standard, in line with policies, legislative, environmental and certifying authorities’ compliance and best practice
using large garden machinery, ride on mowers, small tractor, leaf blowers, hedge cutters
oversee all aspects of the course’s maintenance, ensuring it meets high standards of playability and presentation
manage and maintain greens, fairways, tees, bunkers, and practice facilities
operate and maintain machinery and tools to ensure the course is in top condition
develop and implement a turf maintenance schedule, including mowing, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control
supervise and train any additional ground staff or seasonal workers
monitor and manage budgets for maintenance operations
maintain the gardens by planting, weeding, and watering to ensure healthy growth
keep pathways clear by sweeping and removing debris
monitor and report any issues to management
grounds maintenance around all sites
maintenance of amenity areas surrounding the Academy
working with and contributing to a multi-disciplinary maintenance team
working between more than one dedicated site, and as required by the needs of the business
driving of multiple gang mowers, verti-drain machinery, tractors, subject to training and relevant certification
collection of litter and leaves around the building and the playing surfaces
weeding of all curb lines and plant beds
