Requirements


  • core networking fundamentals
  • strong experience of configuring and maintaining Windows server environments including experience with working with Microsoft’s Exchange, SQL, RDS and IIS
  • knowledge of working with virtualised environments, specifically Hyper-V and VMware
  • microsoft Windows server administration
  • windows Desktop imaging, support, and administration
  • experience in managing IT service, support, and project delivery initiatives
  • experience in VIP / Senior management support, education, and training
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in IT Support – Advantage
  • tech oriented, highly motivated and target focused
  • HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript experience
  • self-independent worker and a team player
  • you should have excellent customer service skills and should feel confident asking questions
  • you will be punctual and an excellent ambassador for IT
  • we will also need to confirm your employment/ educational history over the last 3 years to qualify
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • excellent ability to work within a team, at times independently, responding to and handling tickets
  • strong understanding of both Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems
  • experience working with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory , DNS, DHCP, LAN and WAN
  • ITIL certification is desired, but not essential
  • due to the nature of some of our projects, the successful candidate would be required to undergo a security clearance process and therefore you will be required to have at least 3 years UK residency within the last 5 years

  • 15. Support lifecycle team with technology assets on site
  • keep updated a map of the plant with locations of technology spaces & spares, available to all teams
  • 12. Knows where spare equipment/cables are located, how to replace, manages spare inventory
  • we’re looking for an exceptional IT Support Engineer with a high level of technical knowledge
  • as a IT Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing both onsite and remote technical support for our client base
  • our ideal candidate will be an experienced Technical Support Engineer from a Managed Service Provider background
  • you will be a motivated, natural problem solver with the ability to multi-task at times

  • based in Bedford with travel to support offices in Enfield, Kings Cross, Corby, Birmingham, Blackbushe where required
  • 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
