Responsibility

reviewing Enterprise Architecture documents and aligning CTS architectures to these
developing an architecture roadmap and transition/to be architectures for CTS systems
aid in the development of CTS component requirements from the component architectures
selecting and assessing technologies to meet requirements
working with Infrastructure/Platform Architects to ensure application alignment with the AWS platform
develop architecture artefacts to a level that enable delivery of the changes by a DevOps team
creating and maintaining CTS system and component architecture documents covering functional and non-functional areas
support the DevOps team in understanding the architecture and assuring that changes are implemented correctly
to attend and contribute to the Programme Design Group either by reviewing or presenting designs
to attend and contribute to the COPO Programme Design Group either by reviewing or presenting designs
working with Quality assurance team lead to provide input into development and execution of test strategies
creation of new and updates to existing technical standards
to design, plan and deliver technology changes, with oversight of change advisory board
to be the subject matter expert for all technical aspects of IT & digital services delivery and provide advice and guidance to the organisation on best use of innovative technologies and horizon scanning for new innovative solutions
to review the organisation’s IT & Digital systems providers to ensure we get value for money from our suppliers
providing consultancy to the programme team on technical subjects
translate business requirements into implementation-ready specifications
facilitate meetings and workshops to co-create, validate technical feasibility and prioritise solutions
collaborate with both internal and supplier Product, Technical and Delivery teams
lead on the technical design of integrated solutions including CMS driven sites and logged in portals, customer data, identity and access management, and back-office systems
