Requirements

prior experience in management of engineering teams working in brownfield and/or onshore gas processing projects
senior professional with strong personal drive and credibility with both internal and external stakeholders
proficient oral and written communications skills. Collaborates well in a team environment
track record of project delivery in Europe, Australia , Middle East or Africa
demonstratable flexibility and ability to adapt to changing project-related priorities and deliver high quality, accurate work within required deadlines
prior experience in the management of engineering teams working in FPSO and Offshore projects
ability to works things through with clients to resolve issues, including conflicting demands, sensitive situations, and conflicts with other groups
abides by the Client Code of Business Conduct and business ethics
excellent awareness of environmental and sustainability issues
at least two years of experience as a manager supporting infrastructure teams
willingness to travel to Africa once per year for ~6 days
experience working in Cloud and Data Center infrastructure
experience with cloud and data centre architecture, cost management, software development, and orchestration of containerised workloads
experience, or an interest in networks, particularly telephony
people management experience: coaching, performance evaluation, mentorship, and career development
relevant project management experience: specifically prioritization, tracking schedules and deadlines, and communicating across team/org boundaries
at least 7 years of experience in software engineering
at least 2 years of engineering management experience
an execution-focused mindset, capable of navigating through ambiguity and delivering results
an ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with short-term planning

Responsibility

primary responsibility for the technical delivery of a complex brownfield / greenfield detailed design project
technical delivery of a complex offshore and FPSO FEED and detailed design projects
design management
ensure compliance with Client corporate policies and procedures
prepare, maintain and communicate an engineering resource plan, identifying required type and timing of resources
prepare and maintain an engineering execution plan, describing how the engineering will be executed
participate in preparing and updating the engineering portion of the project schedule
oversee the accurately measurement, monitoring and reporting of engineering progress
recognize and report changes to the scope of work, forecast cost, or forecast schedule
