Responsibility

  • kronospan has exciting opportunities for Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join our rapidly growing engineering team based in Chirk, North Wales
  • kronospan can also offer Relocation Assistance along with Home Office Employer Sponsorship and Financial Support towards VISA applications
  • day Electrical Technician Hours
  • shift Electrical Technician Hours - Full Continental 4 on 4 off
  • monday to Friday 0800
  • 1630 or 4 days per week Monday to Friday 0700
  • completing inspection audit documents for record keeping purposes and providing plant condition feedback
  • establish and maintain good housekeeping standards in all areas of influence and observe good manufacturing practice standards
  • to conduct routine inspection and maintenance of operational plant and infrastructure services
  • these are full time, permanent positions offering earnings up to £45,000 per annum on days and £52,000+ on shifts including shift allowance, overtime & bonus
  • providing front line maintenance support to a specific area of our industry leading plant
  • drive continuous improvement projects
  • you must ensure that at all times the correct PPE is worn
  • to complete the Planned Maintenance inspections as defined by the site maintenance plans in a safe and effective manner
  • ensure that all work areas are kept tidy by adopting a ‘clean as you go’ approach at all times
  • responsible for delivering the Planned Maintenance schedules as defined by the site maintenance plans
  • responsible for your own Health and Safety, for the Health and Safety of those directly responsible to you, your work colleagues and any others who may be affected by the operations under your responsibility or control
  • to be aware of stock control and maintain shift paperwork to the highest standard, to complete condition reports and other documentation
  • plan and deliver corrective and reactive work, ensuring that tools, parts and materials are available and production downtime is minimised whilst also upholding and exceeding standards of safety
