DO NOT WORK FOR THIS EMPLOYER THIS IS NOT THE NHS. Worked for this company since it's founding in 2013 and I have witnessed countless restructures . During these restructures I have seen people pushed out jobs then forced to do lower graded jobs only for a year later another person to roll up and fill the original persons job! ( (supposedly the job was obsolete!!!!) . Each NHSPS department seems to take turns in tearing itself apart you ll have a couple of years of stability and then bang it starts again! Very little training given don't come here if you want expand your horizons I've only been on a handful of coarses since 2013. Bullying is endemic usually from management and your opinion isn't valued.
Estates coordinators haven't got a clue about maintenance or engineering as a whole and they are on a higher grade than us! Company puts alot of focus on employee relations however instead of improving employer/ employee relations it just seems to add irony to everything as you know your manager will not be following any guidance supplied.
No leadership or direction very poor management
Hello. I have a question. Is it really that bad that you wouldnt recommend working there? It was one of my options :/
I suppose it depends what department you work in . As a general the size of the company and systems means working can be very clunky alot of the time. Example of this :alot of sites the assets were completely wrong , door numbering only partially carried out etc you try and rectify this and you're on a road to heartache, you probably won't get anywhere and while your chasing this your own work is piling up.
On the maintenance side: this side is largely dominated by ex Mitie employees ( TUPEd over from business restructure) so bullying and infighting is common. Upper management see these ex Mitie staff as key to maintenance division ( largely through lack of knowledge and experience of managing such depts) so in the short nothing will change soon
Company has far too much nepotism init so don't expect to climb the ladder if your face doesn't fit
