Requirements


  • extensive experience as a commissioning manager required
  • experience within the Pharmaceutical, FMCG or rolled goods industry
  • commissioning Engineer
  • prior experience commissioning substation equipment at 132kV, 275kV or 400kV
  • whilst not essential, this would suit a TP141 accredited Engineer
  • demonstrable success in commissioning of high voltage substations schemes for a DNO, Grid or Private Network
  • full UK driving licence
  • experience of working in a healthcare environment to Good Manufacturing Practice would be an advantage
  • experience in design of pharmaceutical process trains or equipment
  • instrument specification
  • BEng/MEng qualified chemical/process engineer with chartership
  • enthusiastic to work in an on-plant environment
  • experience in commissioning process plant, particularly for active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacture
  • process plant software experience
  • successful applicants will be team players able to collaborate across disciplines, with good problem solving and communication skills
  • self-starter, able to be accountable for project / commissioning delivery and working independently on agreed priorities and leading others in this

  • commissioning Engineer - up to £650 per day inside ir35 - 6 months - fully onsite working - Hertfordshire - one stage interview - Sector: Green Energy
  • deploy and promote safe working practices in planning and execution of commissioning activities, ensuring that safety is considered as a priority by both the company and contract personnel in all commissioning activities
  • communicate and provide regular updates on progress to the Project Manager and other stakeholders
  • oversee the commissioning of primary, secondary and peripheral plant
  • verifying that plant is functionally operational and fit to be connected to the electricity network
  • rectifying faults, fault investigation and diagnostics at various voltages
  • preparation of commissioning and testing procedures
  • ensuring site commissioning activities conform to the procedures
  • collecting and finalising all commissioning documentation
  • providing technical support and guidance to other team members
  • lead and advise other commissioning engineers including issue resolution, test script preparation, safety reviews
  • review installation designs and resolve issues
  • taking Lead on Commissioning
  • strong Subcontractor & Client Liaison & Management
  • looking after several schemes
  • overseeing Commissioning process throughout including any outages
  • execution of the arrangements for controlling, witnessing, recording and assessing the results of commissioning tests which may affect safety
  • delivering the commissioning work scope to an agreed strategy and plan in a timely and cost effective manner
