Responsibility

work on the design lifecycle of electronic modules, including conceptual design, requirement decomposition, product description, and robustness analyses
ensure compliance with RTCA DO-254 certification and aerospace certification authority standards
incorporate high precision built-in test and monitoring features to ensure product functionality and reliability
collaborate with large teams using methodologies such as Agile
provide regular and accurate progress reports, including estimates to complete tasks
hands on use of new test equipment hardware
demonstrate your power distribution knowledge managing requirements, designing, verifying and testing electrical systems
installation, configuration, maintenance, administration, and support of Voice infrastructure and fixed line services within the LAD-T solution
development of hardware for transmission / distribution protection products
inside IR35
strong documentation around the results, equipment used, and any corrections/updates implemented
testing the new equipment to ensure they do what they say and identifying any problems
use your knowledge of the product development lifecycle to provide technical support to the team and the wider business
provide network engineering support to the wider program
production and review of all levels of design artefacts
using laboratory test equipment and measurement techniques during the ATPs and design verification
supporting wider NSoIT system testing activities
strong analogue electronics design experience
working with Service Management to resolve issues
design and testing of new hardware
