supervising: 1 year
valid SSSTS card required
proven and effective Supervisor
able to manage a team and work environment safely and effectively
proven ability to organise own and work of others, including specialists and sub-contractors
carry out routine toolbox talks and prejob briefing
minimum 5 years experience in general building
minimum 2 years experience in site management
mature knowledge and experience of the building industry and site activities
proven track record of luxury renovation works
competent client managerial skills and good communication skills as you will be working in high-net worth customer’s homes
must have own basic tools and PPE
must have full driving licence
own vehicle desirable but one can be supplied for the the right candidate

Responsibility

the individual will be site managing the installation of a new sprinkler installation to an existing factory
be aware of NSG's QSHEW policies & procedures which apply to your area of work
conform to the QSHEW system
work closely with the Site Supervisor / Site Manager / Construction Manager to coordinate site resources
compliance
ensure all personnel, their work activity and actions meet stringent criteria with regards
report work progress to the Site Supervisor/ Site Manager/ Construction Manager
attend PLOD and PLOW meetings

providing quality teaching and learning sessions ensuring KPIs are met
we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Tutor to join our client and deliver their Level 3 Site Supervision AEB and Bootcamp courses
create materials that will fit the learners’ needs supporting them towards the completion of the programme
provide practical, hands-on training experiences that simulate real-world construction site supervision scenarios, enabling learners to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations
your expertise will ensure that learners gain a deep understanding of site management principles, health and safety regulations, and effective leadership within the construction context
identify new referrals and opportunities for the learners to progress and maintain caseloads
offer individualised guidance and mentorship to learners, addressing their unique learning needs and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
this will be a full time, permanent role based in Birmingham for our client who are an awarding winning organisation that specialises in Trade skills training
adhering to quality and compliance completely
instill a strong awareness of health and safety protocols within the construction environment, emphasising their critical importance in site supervision roles
develop and deliver comprehensive and engaging training sessions, workshops, and lessons to adult learners enrolled in Level 3 Site Supervision AEB and Bootcamp courses
