  • previous clinical leadership experience, ideally within a nursing home environment
  • sound knowledge of NMC code of Conduct and standards and the revalidation process
  • sound knowledge of the Care Inspectorate Standards
  • evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically, managerially, preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration
  • registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing Studies
  • GPHC registered
  • robust understanding of Clinical Governance requirements for the area
  • previous experience of more than 6 months in a UK based Pharmacy setting
  • up-to-date knowledge in area of practice
  • MPharm Degree or equivalent
  • awareness of NMC Code of Accountability
