Requirements


  • ideally degree educated in a science, technical or clinical discipline
  • passionate about clinical sales
  • possess extensive commercial skills enabling you to present and negotiate effectively to a wide variety of people

  • able to analyse and understand the market to successfully plan objectives, strategies and actions according to the business unit guidelines

  • minimum of 3 years’ experience as a medical device Field Sales representative, preferably with a medical engineering or clinical background in the interventional Hernia and Bariatric environment
  • minimum of 3 years’ experience as a medical device Field Sales representative, preferably with a medical engineering or clinical background in the Hernia and Bariatric environment

  • proven secondary care experience
  • experience from a vascular access background – renal, oncology or PN
  • experience from a vascular access background - renal, oncology or PN
  • A full clean UK driving license
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • good interpersonal skills, to build rapports with customers

  • degree preferably BSc
  • you have demonstrated ability with laboratory or point of care sales in hospitals with a proven and successful track record
  • you have established relationships with key decision stakeholders in the laboratory, point of care and procurement

Responsibility


  • maintain and build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and physician customers
  • coordinate and implement local sales promotion activities
  • gain recognition as a go-to person at Gore and as a product expert
  • attend international and regional trade fairs and congresses
  • partner closely with the UK Sales Leader, the Regional Product Specialists and Regional Strategic Marketers to achieve the annual revenue forecast
  • ability to support new product introduction and local marketing initiatives
  • full ownership for maximising sales and ensuring market penetration with the existing business as well as actively pursuing new customers and developing new opportunities
  • ability to provide clinical product education and training, as well as regular involvement in the Operating Room
  • promoting and selling products to customers
  • hunting new business through local hospitals, vascular nurse teams and renal units
  • monitoring progress on performance, business plans, market trends and competitor productions to help drive improvement
  • proactively approaching new business leads, and persuading clients to close deals
  • developing and maintaining customer records and territory information, abiding by GDPR legislation
  • designing and implementing a Key Account Management strategy for your territory, to help drive performance
  • liaising with the national business development manager, and the sales team, to meet targets
  • audiological testing equipment for hospitals
