Responsibility


  • assess, investigate, and manage Energy and Marine claims, ensuring all are processed in line with reinsurance policy terms and conditions
  • handle the complete lifecycle of claims, from notification through to settlement, ensuring timely resolution
  • monitor and track open claims, aiming to minimize the lifecycle of each case
  • prepare Large Loss Notifications and ensure the accurate and timely booking of significant claims
  • assist in quarterly and monthly claims reviews, ensuring accurate reserve levels
  • provide detailed reports on claims trends and offer strategic input into claims management processes
  • liaise with internal stakeholders such as underwriters and actuaries and coordinate with external experts like loss adjusters to ensure seamless claims handling
  • investigating and processing claims
  • negotiating settlements with clients, claimants and insurers
  • liaising with clients, brokers and insurers
  • providing advice and guidance to clients and claimants
  • ensuring that all claims are handled in a timely and efficient manner
  • maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • ensure a swift response and settlement of claims, whilst constantly reviewing service standards
