Responsibility

  • you will carry out benefit calculations to maximise income through the take up of appropriate benefits
  • you will act for the client where necessary, drafting letters, obtaining medical evidence, and researching case law as appropriate
  • you will provide specialist level debt and/or welfare benefits casework, including developing and maintaining local contacts with agencies and charities associated with debt/benefit issues
  • you will maintain detailed case records for the purpose of continuity of casework, information retrieval, statistical monitoring, and report preparation, using the IT software provided
