  • sound knowledge of UK income taxation
  • ATT/CTA qualified; we are open to high performing applicants with other relevant tax experience who hold a suitable foreign tax or accounting qualification

Responsibility

  • proven experience in Tax matters
  • manage WIP and Billing process
  • respond quickly to, as well as anticipate client requests/needs, keep clients informed of progress in relation to all aspects of the service provided and maintain regular contact with clients
  • provide overall compliance and technical support on client matters where required
  • actively participate in bids/proposals for new work
  • this firm work with clients across a wide portfolio such as Media, Entertainment, Sports, Film & Television

  • this role is ideally suited to a Corporate Tax Senior with at least two to three years experience in a corporate tax department and ideally ATT qualified
  • be able to provide support to junior staff based overseas
  • carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job
  • deal with HMRC enquiries
  • ensure own compliance with all practice management activities
  • preparation and review of corporation tax computations
  • taking an active role in the management of key tax milestones, return and payment deadlines
  • corresponding with clients and HMRC
  • preparation of R&D tax credit claims and reports
  • remuneration planning, including share incentive schemes
  • supporting Partners and Managers on the delivery of tax advisory assignments and planning projects
  • you will have the support and guidance of an approachable senior management / partnership team who will help you to achieve your long-term career goals
  • assist with the preparation of UK corporation tax returns and tax provisions
