Requirements


  • expert knowledge of the project, programme and change management
  • A recognised Change Management, Project Management or Portfolio Management qualification, e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, MoP, APMG or PMI

  • 3 years experience in AML/Financial Crime Operations and/or Investigations at a financial institution or bank
  • knowledge of Operational Risk and Resilience and familiarity with recent trends and policies
  • execution of residential loans and mananging case from approval to drawdown
  • ideally hold strong knowledge of AML regulations such as JMLSG
  • understanding of key business continuity and resilience principles, controls, functions and interdependencies

Responsibility


  • being responsible for the oversight of Transaction Monitoring, ensuring processes and controls are designed and operating effectively
  • provide complete documentation package to Relationship Manager’s for internal/external signatures
  • AML Middle Office Transaction Monitoring
  • interact with surveyors to prepare valuation reports and ensure compliance with credit approvals
  • be the point of contact for first line Operational Resilience related matters
  • AML Middle Office Onboarding
  • represent the Bank under the guidance and supervision of Head of Operations in any group Operational Resilience programmes and/or workshops
  • conducting, documenting targeted and thorough investigations into customers and the activity seen on their bank accounts
  • ensure any Operational Resilience relating tooling is appropriate for the firm and is embedding into the Bank
  • assess alerts raise to identify potential Money Laundering or terrorism financing activity
  • file copies of LDARs and respective loan documents according to bank procedures
  • ensure adherence and understanding of the Bank’s BCMS and BCP Policy
  • lead the Cash & Bank / Credit Control work stream for UKI
  • manage reconciliation of all bank accounts and credit card transactions including new payment methods
  • manage operational cash processes with Ops. Cash banking, cash collection, coin provision
