  • apply for this apprenticeship where you can work towards a Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician qualification
  • work under the supervision of Senior Site Management
  • you will gain quality hands on experience 4 days a week complemented by one day per week studying at College
  • providing technical assistance to the members of the Civil Engineering team
  • assisting the Civil Engineering team to ensure project delivery within agreed timescales
  • assisting in design reviews and verification checks, as required
  • assisting in delivering innovative design solutions for a broad range of clients including Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, GE Oil & Gas and other Major Contractor Groups
  • an experienced Civil and Structural Technician is required to join our award-winning Building Structures Team
  • producing and checking drawings, design models, schedules and specifications within a quality assurance environment
  • check and coordinate civil and structural design information with other technical disciplines
  • occasionally be required to visit sites, to carry out surveys and inspections
  • occasionally be required to visit other consultant and client offices to attend meetings
  • they will be responsible for the production and checking of civil and structural engineering drawings, 3-dimensional building models, reinforcement schedules and specifications for buildings and associated civil engineering works
