- delivering excellent contract performance and value for money by setting clear expectations, conducting performance discussions, and managing underperforming contracts
- demonstrating drive, energy, and passionate to deliver sustainable outperformance for Yorkshire Water against challenging industry benchmarks and external factors
- ensuring robust financial management and commercial awareness feature in all business decisions
- supporting the business by developing and delivering future savings opportunities through leading commercial initiatives
- there will be an expectation to visit sites in the Yorkshire region therefore a full valid driving licence is an essential requirement for this role
- supporting procurement and negotiation of new or expiring contracts
- commercial management of all Bioresources / Energy and Recycling contracts covering the treatment, transport, and recycling of sludge and management of energy assets
- the Contracts Manager will ensure that Yorkshire Water receives the best performance and value for money from all Bioresources and Energy & recycling contracts
