Responsibility

you will guide the development of Waitrose’s sourcing strategy in key own brand categories
manage and respond to legislation enquiries identifying the means for legal compliance, safe and legal trading within areas of control
liaise with the relevant internal teams on appropriate messaging and product selection to feature in advertising
you will also be responsible for the ongoing development and execution of our central analytics, reporting and tools
subject matter expert for areas of responsibility, providing advice and guidance to the business as needed to maintain legal trading
provide a regulatory lens to ensure that business systems and wider business processes facilitate legal products and legal trading
together with Advertising Lead and/or Senior Advertising Manager, evaluate and make recommendations on creative concepts and final creative and media plans
share your knowledge, experiences, ideas and opinion to improve the Partnership, speaking honestly and frequently

Requirements

A science based or law degree
further qualification in Consumer and Trading Standards
strong people management experience
strong technical/commercial experience and proven ability in delivering strong results
campaign or project management
3 years experience in marketing either client or agency side
experience in food retail or food manufacturing / supply
A range of operational omni-channel experience in retail teams
