Responsibility

placement of Subcontract orders in accordance with specification budget and programme constraints
to manage a portfolio of suppliers with the aim of ensuring QCD performance
the selection of suppliers and negotiation of prices within post holder's level of delegated authority to commit
assess the existing Commercial landscape
develop, shape and adapt commercial teams and resources to support the delivery of the commercial strategy and programme/operational requirements
identification of savings and opportunity realisation
execute sourcing exercises aligned to category strategies within defined timescales and to agreed quality standards
develop, implement and manage technical solutions to enable effective procurement, contract management and SRM
implement key strategic initiatives across SRM and Industry Engagement with effective market engagement to build better professional buying and relationship management behaviours
design, shape and agree innovative commercial strategies for highly complex, high value, high profile requirements in the IT and Digital categories, as well as common goods and services, in accordance with best practice, local policy and expectations
develop an exciting and clearly defined commercial vision and strategy aligned to an agreed pipeline of future requirements and communicate this expertly to both internal and external stakeholders
ensure compliant commercial practice, process efficiency and robust controls and assurance mechanisms across the full commercial lifecycle
implement best practices for YouTube ads to engage audiences effectively and drive conversions
conduct A/B testing and continuous optimisation to improve ROI
visit factory for complicated projects to check quality
provide performance metrics
purchasing of materials
you will work in partnership with our internal customers to manage procurement competitions for software and services
communicate to vendors efficiently
preparation of supply chain documentation & quotations
