Responsibility


  • general responsibilities within the role include the management of contract variations, undertaking checks on contract compliance, monitoring supplier performance and mobilising new contracts
  • interim Assistant Contract Manager - £350 to £400p.day
  • communicating and managing senior stakeholders across multiple business lines; providing regular and up-to-date status reports to stakeholders
  • preparing requests for proposals and conducting all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of project services and products
  • owning the project’s objectives to ensure that risks and issues are appropriately and clearly managed or escalated
  • supporting the Products team in the delivery of new product initiatives across the business
  • helping to establish and lead the new project management function
  • establish and maintain relationships with appropriate stakeholders with regular contact on projects’ status and changes
  • end-to-end responsibility for Managing the project life cycle from requirements through to delivery and into support and maintenance
  • managing all appropriate documentation related to each initiative, eg RAID logs, timelines etc
  • managing project progress and scope across a multiple complex initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget. Managing and communicating risks, issues and change requests from both internal and third-party sources
  • working with the Department Directors and Project Sponsor to provide visibility of project status, manage the overall project plan and highlight issues, risks and opportunities for each of the projects that are running
  • manage all stakeholder meetings and provide clear documentation prior to and after meetings from functional working groups to project steering sessions
  • oversight and challenge for the firm's procurement, management, oversight and exiting of Third-Parties, with focus on establishment and embedding of appropriate and effective governance and controls in the 1L
  • ensuring that Network Engineers are progressing and updating their incidents
  • performing initial triage, prioritisation and assignment of incidents to Network Engineers
  • new Incidents are validated, initial investigations performed and then re-assigned to the Network Engineers in line with agreed service levels
  • existing tickets assigned to Network Engineers are being actioned and closed down in line with agreed service levels
  • performance appraisal system and process management
  • maintain HRIS; Onboarding / Leaver admin
