- this is your opportunity to join a dynamic and evolving therapy team at Heartlands Hospital, part of UHB Trust
- we are looking for an enthusiastic Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Support Worker with excellent communication skills to join our Therapy team
- this will involve working under the supervision of registered Physiotherapists and Occupational therapists and having responsibility for an agreed clinical caseload
- we currently have opportunities within the Medicals / Older People's Therapy Team and the Trauma and Orthopaedic team
- we have opportunities for full time and part time permanent posts working within a large dynamic team of Therapists
- the Trust is committed to providing a 7 day service and therefore the role is on a 7 day working rota
- you will have the opportunity to support the delivery of the physiotherapy and occupational therapy services to patients within the clinical setting
Requirements
- essential
- able to demonstrate competence in maths and written and spoken English
- care certificate or be willing to work towards this
- relevant therapy / health / social care experience
- experience of dealing with people
- experience of working in a team
- good understanding of the role of therapy support worker in the relevant area
- understanding of confidentiality and data protection in healthcare
