bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
minimum of 2 years of IT end-user support/helpdesk experience
strong analytical troubleshooting skills to effectively identify and resolve problems
collaborative team player capable of coordinating with other departments to deliver comprehensive solutions
excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
proficiency in remote administration/connectivity methods
proficiency in Microsoft-based computer/user management , both on cloud and on-premises
strong knowledge of networking and networking protocols

Responsibility

we are seeking an experienced north-based Regional IT Engineer to oversee the deployment, maintenance, and optimisation of our IT infrastructure across our Northern Properties
the ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, and a deep understanding of network systems, telecommunications, and hardware/software management preferably within a hotel/hospitality environment
you will play a critical role in ensuring that our IT environment is efficient, secure, and aligned with the evolving needs of our business
maintain accurate records and documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures
coordinate project timelines, engaging key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
ensure all hardware and software are up to date for each property
lead or support with IT projects, such as system upgrades, new technology implementations, property expansions or new developments
