- collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and productive atmosphere within the home
- work closely with colleagues, external specialists, and families to create personalised care plans for each resident
- uphold the highest standards of professionalism, contributing to the home's inclusive and supportive ethos
Requirements
- previous experience in a caregiving or support role with children and young people is essential
- possessing a Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce is desirable
- experience supporting Learning Difficulties and/or Complex Needs
- possessing a Level 2 or Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce is desirable
- A background in social work, psychology, special education, or a related field is advantageous
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a compassionate and empathetic approach
- must be able to work on a rota and work sleep in shifts
- patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with diverse needs
