  • have proven experience support students in English and Maths
  • bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
  • TEFL qualification required, such as CELTA, DELTA, etc
  • able to obtain a clear background check
  • able to drive to travel to location
  • available to teach at least 2 hours on Saturday mornings
  • minimum 3 years’ teaching experience of adult learners
  • teaching: 3 years
  • E- QTS or QTLS
  • E- Excellent spoken and written language skills with English

Responsibility


  • have the ability to plan and prepare innovative schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment schedules which motivate students to achieve
  • plan and deliver highly effective learning programmes for diverse groups or individuals in a safe and inclusive environment, whilst also ensuring students are stretched and challenged to reach their full potential
  • address the English and Mathematics needs of students and work creatively to overcome individual barriers to learning, both within and outside of the classroom
  • to deliver high quality and inclusive English teaching and learning
  • to prepare relevant course/subject materials
  • to use a variety of delivery methods that will stimulate learning appropriate to student needs
  • develop resources, support teaching programmes and deliver on a number of AQA unit award schemes as required
  • prepare students for Functional Skills and GCSE examinations
  • to provide active support to individual learners
  • maintain knowledge of new developments in the curriculum, courses and teaching practices and keep course materials
  • the full-time role is available with immediate start and will provide ongoing cover for pupils across the KS3/KS4 curriculum
  • the full-time role will be to cover the full academic year starting in September 2023
  • the full-time role will commence September 2023 and is expected to become permanent for the right candidate
  • the full-time role will support learners to make excellent progress in one of the Core Subjects
  • we welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers, you can expect to earn up to £230 per day depending on experience
  • the Secondary school offers a high quality curriculum for students aged 11-18, within a caring community of learning
  • you can expect to be paid up to £230 a day depending on experience. The school welcomes applications from ECTs
