Requirements

have proven experience support students in English and Maths
bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
TEFL qualification required, such as CELTA, DELTA, etc

able to drive to travel to location

minimum 3 years’ teaching experience of adult learners

address the English and Mathematics needs of students and work creatively to overcome individual barriers to learning, both within and outside of the classroom

develop resources, support teaching programmes and deliver on a number of AQA unit award schemes as required
prepare students for Functional Skills and GCSE examinations

maintain knowledge of new developments in the curriculum, courses and teaching practices and keep course materials
the full-time role is available with immediate start and will provide ongoing cover for pupils across the KS3/KS4 curriculum
the full-time role will be to cover the full academic year starting in September 2023
the full-time role will commence September 2023 and is expected to become permanent for the right candidate
the full-time role will support learners to make excellent progress in one of the Core Subjects
