maintenance manager
Responsibility
- manage day-to-day maintenance of entire property portfolio
- to carry out regular plant & equipment checks as required by the Operations & Maintenance regime
- ensure regular emergency equipment checks including fire and intruder alarms, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers are completed
- manage capacity requirements aligned with business needs. Coordinate with contractors for timely execution of maintenance tasks, ensuring seamless implementation
- supervise external maintenance contractors
- maintenance program administration
- assume overall responsibility for the cleanliness and maintenance of internal and external environments, ensuring they meet safety standards
- ensure staff, external contractors, buildings, and services comply with health and safety legislation. Conduct 'risk assessments' related to the Estates function
Requirements
- essential
- must demonstrate experience and practical abilities in maintenance operations
- multi skilled within property maintenance workstreams, including mechanical and electrical
- show strong ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively, delivering results within demanding timelines
- experience of operating Building Management Systems
- have an excellent collaboration skill, coupled with the ability to work independently, driving improvements and embracing change when necessary
- ability to work unsupervised
- outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction across all levels
