  • experience of the system design lifecycle within Aerospace, automotive or similar complex product
  • prior experience working in a team
  • A general understanding of electrical power distribution systems
  • the role requires advanced knowledge and experience in Electrical engineering equivalent to Degree level
  • awareness of Agile and Kanban techniques
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a network administration or systems engineering role
  • prior experience with Wireless Network technologies not required but highly desired
  • previous experience working with systems configuration, training, and implementation
  • knowledge of broadcast or data center infrastructure installations including power, environmental, and space layout considerations
  • responsibility for the EUC environment comprising physical & cloud workstations, fixed & mobile telephony, unified comms, email & messaging
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • experience managing third-party service delivery or support in an engineering environment
  • strong python and ansible experience
  • excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain meaningful professional relationships
  • degree/HND in either Electrical, Systems, Electronic Engineering or similar
  • experience in analogue, digital and RF electrical/electronics
  • strong around Networks - Cisco - CCNA level

Responsibility


  • work with Program & Product Management teams to create high-level specifications
  • support work required to deliver Systems development and/or verification activities against customer requirements as directed by the team lead
  • provide leadership in the delivery of DSR updates through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience
  • experience of the Systems lifecycle
  • perform system studies and simulations using appropriate tools to validate Digital Energy algorithms
  • contributing to the new/updated design of a system architecture
  • analyse market trends and requirements to propose new developments in Digital Energy products
  • support the creation & execution of Systems verification artefacts to ensure requirements are correctly met
  • plan for effective project implementation, identifying key factors and leading the project's technical planning process
  • author technical papers and present materials at tradeshows and conferences for innovative products
  • interface with client contacts on a daily basis
  • maintain network test equipment, ensuring working order, configuration, and required inventory to complete specific engagements as assigned
  • systems Engineer – Cheadle
  • all Hybrid roles, onsite at Cheadle minimum 3 days per week
  • install, configure, test, and maintain systems / infrastructure
  • providing infrastructure model-based engineering and support
  • ensure alignment of all IT infrastructure aspects at the site
