Responsibility


  • conducting a combination of clinic and theatre work on a 4-weekly job plan
  • performing major procedures for 40% of the case mix and minor procedures for 60% of the case mix
  • running clinics from 08:00 to 17:00 for 8 hours, on clinic days
  • demonstrate excellent treatment skills and medical knowledge, encompassing a broad understanding of various surgeries, injection methods, including the use of cannulas
  • prioritise patient-centred care, maintaining an empathetic approach to patient needs and concerns
  • flexibility to work during weekends as necessary
  • perform aesthetic treatments and several minor plastic surgeries, including Botox and dermal filler injections, with the highest level of medical safety standards
  • deliver high-quality care for all patients and support the smooth running of the service
  • provide on-site clinical expertise as and when needed, supporting MDTs as required
  • support efficient theatre utilisation for the effective management of resources and maintenance of our short waiting lists for private, insured and NHS patients
  • take ownership in the successful performance against key performance indicators, ensuring zero compromise to the quality of care or clinical excellence for patients
  • in collaboration with department leads, maintain and develop quality standards and improvement throughout the department and in line with any relevant accreditation requirements
