Responsibility


  • gather and document requirements for new software developments
  • software design and formal review process
  • software coding, including prototype development and responding to user feedback during development
  • specification of test criteria and development of test procedures
  • assist in gaining and maintaining RTCA DO-278C compliance
  • train/coach other testers
  • maximise automated test strategy whilst maintain quality
  • help build robust, high quality systems and have a hunger to work with interesting technology
  • you will have to manage their development machinery using a mix of in-house and third-party systems for build configuration, continuous integration, automated regression testing, issue tracking, data management, server and build agent monitoring, and hardware testing
  • they predominantly develop in C++ and Python meaning you will need to have good exposure to these technologies
  • working from home is possible most of the time provided you are able to visit their Oxford offices as needed, to perform tasks that cannot be conducted remotely and there is no expectation to be 'on call' outside of core office hours
