  • A very high standard of communication skills, accurate use of spelling and grammar

Responsibility


  • administer key elements of student admissions, support, and assessment processes for both taught and research programmes
  • take a leading role in managing student recruitment and assessment processes, as well as maintaining accurate student and financial records
  • provide administrative support for committee meetings, open evenings, and other school events such as the School’s public lecture series
  • ensure adherence to data protection and information security standards, regularly reviewing and managing programme information
  • provide clerking and minute-taking at meetings and ensure meeting rooms are fully set up with the necessary AV equipment
  • manage student timetabling and coordinate the academic calendar
  • undertake financial administration, including ordering supplies and processing payments using Agresso
  • be the first point of contact for students, staff, and external contacts, providing daily support and answering a wide range of queries
  • administer payments to guest lecturers and suppliers, raising purchase orders, and managing programme expenditure
  • support the smooth running of postgraduate programmes by coordinating handbooks, records, publications, travel arrangements, and room bookings
  • maintaining accurate and up-to-date pupil records, including attendance and admissions
  • assisting with financial management, including processing payments and managing petty cash
  • responding to queries from parents, staff and external agencies
  • using CRM systems like SIMs and other data management tools
  • supporting the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks, such as arranging meetings and maintaining calendars
  • answering inbound calls and directing them accordingly
  • general office duties, such as answering the phone, filing and photocopying
