  • demonstrable account management/relationship building skills
  • some industry experience in support/system engineering either in a vendor or channel role

  • knowledge and/or Experience managing or implementing enterprise Secure Web Gateway solutions
  • knowledge and/or Experience managing or implementing enterprise Multi Factor Authentication solutions
  • knowledge and/or Experience managing or implementing enterprise CASB solutions
  • knowledge of Microsoft domains environments On-Premise, Hybrid and Cloud
  • an understanding of the Web security and Email Security market landscape and competition
  • willingness to travel throughout the UK & abroad
  • experience selling interconnect or electronic solutions
  • technically aware, able to communicate technical products to clients, and excellent communication skills
  • A proactive sales approach

  • demonstrable experience working in a SaaS environment with medium to large organizations

Responsibility


  • pre Sales/Consultancy and/or providing solution input into customer discussions and early engagements, where it supports the sales engagement process
  • act as the customer’s main point of contact to ensure that the business is providing excellent service across all departments
  • understanding customers’ needs, and selling with a technical solution led approach
  • presenting and demonstrating products and solutions
  • managing and growing the territory
  • attending client meetings, to build relationships, communicate technical solutions and negotiate
  • maintaining market and competitor knowledge, building a full sales pipeline
  • the Sales Engineer will be responsible for increasing presence in both new and existing accounts, developing client relationships and identifying business opportunities
  • driving sales growth and meeting revenue targets by developing customer relationships and concept solutions
  • managing the end-to-end sales process, from pipeline development to customer satisfaction, supporting the team and addressing challenges
  • collaborating with designers to develop and evaluate concept ideas, ensuring they progress to detailed design phases
  • providing technical support in client and supplier contract negotiations, working closely with senior managers
  • ensuring customer's technical requirements are met with acceptable levels of change and risk
  • specialising in your segment, offering insights to drive product development
  • cultivating peer-to-peer strategic relationships with customers and fostering a culture of account ownership and collaboration
  • growing and managing pipelines, reporting regularly to management and taking action to achieve closure
  • deliver technical product presentations & demonstrations
  • liaise with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers
  • engage with customers at all levels of their organization, from technical and marketing operations through to the C-suite
  • support the sales teams in their sales engagements through demonstrations and clear communication of the value proposition. You will remain involved in the sales process beyond demonstrations to help architect customer tech flows
