Responsibility


  • value properties for Sale and follow up valuations to ensure a strong conversion rate
  • ensure that branch Sales targets are met and motivate staff to achieve branch forecasts
  • ensure a strong market share in the area
  • introduce new business to the branch
  • manage the office in the absence of the Senior Sales Manager or Sales Manager as appropriate
  • maximising revenues and growing the property register
  • utilising the companies Technology to generate and develop new business
  • to carry out all market appraisals and winning new instructions within the local market place
  • acting as an industry expert to clients, applicants and colleagues, including cross selling of other services
  • developing and executing clear management strategies
  • managing a team of negotiators and ensuring targets are exceeded
  • overseeing the company’s sales pipeline and ensuring properties move forward to change of contracts
  • analysis of market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads and grow market share, with a focus on increasing ADR, family and suite business
  • conduct sales research, presentations and sales activity via audio and virtual calls, hotel show rounds, entertaining clients, attending relevant office visits, client evenings and fam trips to build relationships and increase revenue
  • as a senior member of the sales team, assist the DOS to build revenue in line with hotel goals, train members of the sales team, and work closely with hotel operations to share knowledge about your segments and deliver high standards of service
  • ensure Connector is being used and data is clean and up to date
  • undertake any reasonable duties as specified by Development Director
  • maintain regular contact with past clients and enquiries employing sales skills to gain more enquiries and confirmations from these clients
  • produce weekly and ad hoc reports in the department
  • client manage a list of designated venue relationships to encourage additional referrals of business
