Requirements

childcare: 2 years
room Leader: 1 year
bermondsey SE16: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
A Level 3 full and relevant qualification in Childcare such as EYE, NVQ, CACHE or recognised equivalent
A good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
understanding of the Froebelian approach
experience working in a nursery environment
the right to work in the UK and a clear enhanced DBS
level 3 or above Early Years qualification
preferred Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
at least 2 years' experience in nursery management or childcare
ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of nursery workers
experience working with children and implementing age-appropriate learning activities

Responsibility

responsible for the operation of SCADA Control room
to co-ordinate and lead weekly Room Meetings, ensuring that they are productive, informative inclusive and recorded
responsible for shift production planning and providing guidance to Team Leader to execute shift activities
ensure that all duties are completed and are fairly shared amongst the team
execute the production plan in line with Quality, Cost and Timescale requirements
continuously improve production operations through evaluation of Control Room alarms and issues, and develop through employee involvement, changes to processes accordingly
instruct Maintenance Engineers to repair urgent defects and damage from incidents or upset conditions
as well as being Room Leader, you are first and foremost still an Early Years Educator, so please always refer to the job description for this role
ensure necessary information from these meetings is brought to the relevant manager in a professional and timely manner to support the staff as needed
link the automated operations with Production Leaders in order to communicate key actions required
responsible for compliance with all company Health and Safety procedures thus ensuring the safe operation of the facility and safety procedures are adhered to allow for cleaning and maintenance activities to be planned through the Control Room automation
use knowledge of SCADA system to manage non-conforming situations as appropriate
responsible for the operation of MTV SCADA Control room
ensure on-time Manufacturing order fulfilment with quality products
ensure that all areas of production comply with the Company Health and Safety policies and procedures and display a positive safety culture
managing and maintaining a safe learning environment for children to learn organically through their interests and play
leading a room and supporting staff to deliver Froebelian practice
be responsible for the room and meet targets outlined by your manager
foster positive relationships with your team, children and families
communicate effectively to families on children’s development through documentation and learning stories
