BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent
membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB
ideally 5 years of experience within this role/field
experienced with NEC3/4 contracts

Responsibility

as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be managing all costs from the initial calculations to the final figures, minimising the costs of the project and enhancing value for money - for a specific section of HS2

this role will be site based/hybrid
the role holder will report to and be supported by the Managing QS
responsibilities and Accountabilities Responsibilities – but not limited to
price and submission of quotations for works on maintenance contracts
liaise with operational staff including clients and subcontractors
ensure scheme costs are correct on cost system and raise and queries where necessary
attend internal / external meetings
manage subcontract supply chain, issuing orders assessing Subcontract AFPs and the processing of payments
