  • CMM Inspector, PCDMIS programming, First Principle Inspection
  • ability to read technical drawings, attention to detail, team player
  • experience at a Senior Manager level in external banking audits of listed entities and some involvement in audit quality initiatives
  • we are seeking candidates with an accountancy qualification coupled with membership of ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS or ICAI are required as well as significant experience at least at Audit Senior Manager or above level in the external banking audit profession, being essential

Responsibility


  • support delivery of technical assessments using appropriate methodologies
  • contribute to the development and validation of Quality methodologies
  • participation in experimental trials improvement activities and audits, where appropriate
  • engagement with relevant stakeholders and other functions to enhance inspection techniques
  • participate in other projects as required
  • supporting audit firm supervisors and playing a role in the production of the annual public reports on audit firms in relation to inspection findings
  • play a significant role globally in the promotion and development of audit regulation
  • our client, a regulator are seeking an Inspector Banking within their Audit Quality Review team
  • conduct inspections of firm-wide procedures at the major audit firms as required and visiting audit firms and reviewing their processes and audit methodologies

  • allocation of resource to inspect and certify products, process, services and trials
  • to provide technical oversight and quality assurance to the council’s domestic testing and compliance, programmes

  • identify areas of continuous improvement to promote and enhance Quality capability
  • maintenance and enhancement of team skills, knowledge, and capabilities to ensure the appropriate skill level and capability
  • certification of products, process, services and trials
  • maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player
  • promote quality first mind-set through Production operations aimed at prevention of non-quality in the cleanroom
