Requirements

  • our client is looking for a customer service orientated Property Manager, who is responsive, collaborative and able to work with pace and a passion to meet their customer's needs. A

  • key member of the Property Management function of the GCE team, working closely with the Senior Property Manager in providing strategic, legal and practical property management support to the GM's and the business

  • must have combined 5-10 years commercial building engineering, Construction Management or Facilities Management experience

  • extensive experience in reading complex architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, communications and landscaping plans
  • maintenance: 2 years
  • requires 5+ years of facilities operational experience over multiple buildings
  • in-depth knowledge of general maintenance practices for structural, mechanical, electrical, and landscaping components. Working knowledge on the functioning of HVAC units

Responsibility


  • ensuring we remain fully compliant in line with the relevant legislation
  • prepare properties for new tenancies, coordinating necessary repairs, cleaning, and upgrades to ensure a seamless transition for incoming tenants
  • close liaison with the SPM, GM's and GCE team is key to ensure consistency and delivery of all service charge management processes across the board
  • ensure and facilitate where necessary the timely completion and issuing of budget and reconciliation reports and information in compliance with RICS guidelines at allocated centres
  • provide regular and concise updates to the SPM on tasks and matters arising at allocated centres and relevant project work
  • liaise with contractors, developers, and suppliers to source and install white goods and other essential items for our properties
  • undertake financial administration tasks as required
  • manage and contribute to both in-house and external third-party patent searches
  • collaborate effectively with external legal professionals to optimize our IP strategy
  • take responsibility for the management and oversight of our comprehensive IP portfolio
  • provide expert advice to project teams on potential issues or infringements related to intellectual property
  • advise project teams and the wider business on the patentability of products and associated benefits
  • collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure thorough patent box coverage and meticulous management of IP costs
  • work in partnership with Research and Development teams and external professionals to minimise potential legal exposure and maximise protection
  • manage and provide strategic guidance on Freedom to Operate , leveraging insights from knowledge acquired from our in-house design teams and external patent attorneys
  • manage and delegate patent drafting and freedom-to-operate oppositions with external attorneys as required
