Requirements


  • the ideal candidate will be physically fit, self motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated
  • A good eye for detail is essential and interest in keeping a tidy yard
  • the successful candidate must have an interest in livestock and animal welfare
  • food production experience
  • interest in agroforestry and regenerative farming techniques
  • knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
  • feeding, bedding, catching of chickens, doing welfare and shed checks to ensure the birds are happy
  • working in on farm abattoir two mornings per week
  • working with farm supervisor and team to manage day to day tasks. which will mean you could be working with chickens/sheep/workshop
  • this is a responsible position, which needs the successful candidate to be a team player and also happy to work alone
  • working on Avery scales system, with a good eye for detail
  • preparing products and packing chicken, chicken portions & products for retail
  • good communication skills, working to a farming structure ensuring each days jobs are complete. highlighting issues and solutions where required
  • shifts and hours can be flexible so we can take on full-time or part-time employees
  • quality control and compliance experience
  • pressure washing, general cleaning of butchery, processing unit & outside areas
  • previous experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment preferred
  • mechanical knowledge to operate machinery and equipment
  • basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities
  • knowledge of HACCP principles for food safety

Responsibility


  • monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality
  • assemble various components of woodworking tools according to specifications and quality standards
  • your attention to detail and dedication to quality will ensure that our tools meet the high standards our customers expect
  • conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
  • maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • collaborate with team members to achieve production targets
  • follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • as a Production Worker in our assembly department, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and quality control of our products
  • to be able follow a set of instructions and produce materials to our high level of quality control
  • ensuring the safe and accurate loading of customer orders
  • serving customers in the yard to ensure customer orders are fulfilled fully
  • ensuring all stock is safely stored and protected against the weather and damage
  • check stock levels & advise when stocks are low so they can be re-ordered in time
  • dealing with damages effectively and promptly
  • driving company vehicles safely to deliver customer orders or make site to site transfers
  • significant repeat manual handling
  • to assemble customer orders in the yard and production areas so that they are ready for uplift or collection by couriers / transport companies, which may require the use of a counterbalance forklift truck
  • ensuring personal compliance with all Health and Safety obligations
  • material Handling: Moving raw materials to the production area and organizing inventory as needed to keep the production process flowing smoothly
  • operating Machinery: You will be responsible for operating various machines involved in cutting, shaping, and processing glass. This includes following operational instructions and adhering to safety guidelines
