Requirements


  • available for planning sessions regularly. It normally takes place in the evening and lasts 30 minutes
  • hold the right to work in the UK
  • hold a DBS certificate
  • UK classroom teaching: 2 years
  • UK independent school: 1 year
  • have the appropriate Teaching Qualifications
  • possess an Enhanced Child DBS with an update service subscription, or demonstrate the willingness to apply for one through anzuk
  • an Enhanced working with children DBS or the ability to apply for one through us
  • possess an updated CV, outlining paid employment covering the last two years - any gaps in employment must be accounted for
  • qualified Primary Teacher status
  • an up to date CV showing paid employment covering the last two years
  • A recognised teaching qualification, PGCE or equivalent
  • A recognised teaching experience, at least three months within a UK school
  • recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent
  • have a proven track record of strong classroom management
  • applicants are welcome from all teachers, including ECT Teachers
  • relevant Qualification - PGCE
  • strong subject knowledge of your specialism and the flexibility and willingness to cover every other subject on the curriculum
  • the ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students
  • strong subject knowledge of the Primary Curriculum

Responsibility


  • plan and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that cater to diverse learning needs
  • foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
  • planning, preparing and delivering interactive and engaging lessons, across the subject ranges
  • collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to create a holistic learning experience
  • differentiating lesson activities and learning techniques to cater for the diverse range of learning needs in a typical mainstream classroom
  • provide constructive feedback and assessments to support student progress
  • utilising effective behavioural and classroom management strategies, to promote an optimal learning environment in the classroom
  • embrace school activities and events, contributing to the vibrant school community
  • for primary; conducting assessments and collating data to ascertain pupil progress levels
  • you will be required to deliver lessons in accordance with the planning provided that engage and challenge students of all abilities
  • you will at all times implement school policies and procedures and manage the classroom and behaviour
