  • to be responsible for specific delegated aspects of clinical intervention, working without direct supervision and providing feedback to the registered Physiotherapist or Assistant Practitioner regarding assessment of patient progress
  • HCPC Registered desirable
  • minimum of two years postgraduate experience
  • previous clinical experience performing a similar role within Inpatients
  • english GCSE level or equivalent
  • individuals with significant experience in relevant work environment working with patients

Responsibility


  • contribute to effective liaison with stakeholders
  • contribute to the recruitment of participants to the study
  • facilitate the delivery of the project, qualitative evaluation of student experiences through focus groups and interviews
  • collect and analyse data
  • management of the research on a day to day basis and administrative activities related to the project to meet tight deadlines and project milestones working closely with the overall project manager
  • to provide support to less experienced staff, support workers and students
  • to help coordinate workload of the whole team
  • to maintain professional competencies as identified by clinical team leader on a commencement of post
  • to actively participate in peer review / clinical supervision
  • to participate in the induction, training and education of student and junior staff
  • to provide training to students and staff on specialist skills as agreed with the director
  • to attend in-service training programmes, tutorials, individual training sessions and external courses where appropriate
  • to undertake mandatory training as required by the business and in house training to attain necessary competencies
  • to take part in the businesses appraisal and performance review programme, actively participating in own personal development and review in order to identify personal development plans and training needs
  • 3 month locum assignment to start as soon as possible
  • full time hours
  • the successful candidate will be working within a strong team
  • to undertake duties and responsibilities as defined in the work plan
  • handle general telephone enquiries and refer clinical issues to the relevant Physiotherapist
  • participate in pre-operative assessment as required
