Requirements


  • HCPC Registered Paramedic
  • independent Prescriber
  • experience working within either a UCC, WIC, or Emergency Department
  • A minimum of 6 months experience working within a Primary Care Setting
  • strong clinical assessment skills
  • ability to work autonoumously and make informed decisions under pressure
  • knowledge of Emis is preferable
  • proficient in Emis, Adastra, Accurx and Docman
  • valid Paramedic certification and relevant qualifications
  • strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to emergency medical care
  • good communication skills
  • experience in administering injections and medication administration is highly desirable
  • ability to prioritise and manage workload
  • proven ability to perform under pressure while maintaining composure
  • be motivated by delivering exceptional patient
  • excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams
  • A willingness to work with others and be a big part of the team
  • london SE1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
  • must hold a current HCPC registration
  • must have a minimum of 12 months experience in NHS trusts, working frontline post qualification

Responsibility


  • duties : Ward rounds all day 08.00-18.00
  • refer patients to the right healthcare providers, specialists, or emergency services as needed, based on your clinical assessment
  • reporting to Service Delivery Team
  • conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with acute medical issues, using your advanced clinical skills to determine the best course of action
  • collaborate closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth coordination of patient care across services
  • can you diagnose and administer medication whilst working within defined procedures and protocols as laid down by the company

  • undertake the full range of paramedic duties in line with the Events Medics Ltd operational instructions
  • dynamically assess scene and identify environmental and clinical risks to patients, self and colleagues taking appropriate action to minimise them where possible and ensure safety
  • assist with the induction and mentorship of new staff and students ensuring that they are aware of all necessary procedures, policies and information in order to carry out their role effectively
  • drive relevant vehicle types that you are trained on in accordance with the emergency vehicle driver training standards and the Highway Code and relevant legislation
  • complete and submit all necessary reports and notifications as required by Events Medics Ltd Operational, Clinical, Health & Safety and other relevant instructions
