Requirements


  • 2 years experience as an Optometrist within the NHS
  • bachelor of Optometry or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • valid registration with the General Optical Council
  • strong knowledge of anatomy related to the visual system
  • experience or interest in providing care for senior patients is highly desirable
  • excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education
  • ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • proficient in using optometric equipment and technology
  • part Time- flexible hours offered to help with childcare i.e. 10am- 3pm
  • higher certificates in Glaucoma, Cataracts
  • bachelor's degree in Optometry or equivalent qualification
  • registration with the General Optical Council
  • proven experience working as an Optometrist
  • strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
  • familiarity with optical equipment and latest advancements in eye care technology
  • doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry school
  • GOC registered or relevant licensing in the respective region
  • strong clinical skills and the ability to diagnose and manage a range of eye conditions
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • excellent clinical skills and knowledge in optometry

Responsibility
