  • we are looking to recruit an experienced and committed Theatre staff / Operating Department Practitioner to join our friendly operating theatre team. You will be exposed to the latest innovative, evidence-based clinical techniques

  • the Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload as an ODP, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs
  • most important is that our Theatre staff / Operating Department Practitioners are experienced in a variety of surgical procedures, including Anaesthetics and Recovery
  • consultants come to work with us from all across the UK and you will work closely with them and be exposed to the latest innovative, evidence-based clinical techniques
  • our client operates a network of 38 private hospitals and ten clinics across the UK. You will be working for the second largest provider of private healthcare in the United Kingdom
  • you will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others
  • most important is that our Theatre staff / Operating Department Practitioners are experienced in a variety of surgical procedures, including Anaesthetics, Surgery and Recovery
  • supporting anaesthetists and surgeons during pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases
  • preparing the operating theatre with necessary equipment and ensuring all instruments are sterile and available
  • assisting with patient positioning, monitoring, and safety throughout procedures
  • administering and monitoring anaesthesia under the supervision of an anaesthetist
  • assisting with airway management, including intubation and extubation
  • ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and maintaining a sterile environment
  • supporting patients through recovery and monitoring vital signs post-surgery
  • collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth and effective surgical care
  • we are looking to speak to OPD's for block bookings in Bradford, West Yorkshire. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for full time agency work as you will be guaranteed shifts ongoing for 3 months

  • participate in the robust reporting of incidents and comply with any ensuing investigations
