Requirements


  • A degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on sports nutrition
  • proven experience working as a Nutritionist, with a track record of successful client outcomes and positive results
  • in-depth knowledge of nutrition principles, including macro and micronutrients, nutritional requirements for athletes, and dietary guidelines for optimal health
  • ability to effectively communicate complex nutritional information to clients in a clear and understandable manner
  • strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • bachelor’s or master’s degree in nutrition,nutrition Science, clinical nutrition, food science & nutrition
  • 5 to 8 years industry experience as a minimum, preferably within the supplement and food experience
  • knowledge of nutraceuticals would be a bonus
  • experienced and knowledgeable Senior nutrition & science R&D specialist
  • have a deep understanding of human nutrition, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate leadership capabilities
  • ability to clearly communicate with internal and external key stakeholders at all levels
  • comfortable with juggling multiple timelines and working in a highly agile environment
  • A strong team player, adept at building effective relationships and stakeholder management

  • experience creating the nutrition strategy, frameworks & guardrails. Giving expert guidance, developing nutrition programs, conducting research, and leading a team of nutrition professionals
  • results-driven with strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
  • degree in Dietetics or Nutrition, or relevant degree with Diploma in Dietetics
  • HCPC Registered Dietitian or Registered Nutritionist
  • ideally At least two years’ experience as a dietitian or nutritionist in a healthcare environment

Responsibility


  • conducting comprehensive nutritional assessments for clients, taking into account their individual health goals, dietary preferences, and medical history
  • developing personalized nutrition plans tailored to clients' specific needs, whether it's for athletic performance enhancement, weight management, or overall health optimization
  • providing education and guidance on proper nutrition, meal planning, and healthy eating habits to support clients in achieving their goals
  • evaluating clients' progress and making necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans based on their feedback and results
  • collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as sports therapists and physiotherapists, to ensure a holistic approach to clients' wellbeing
  • staying up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and sports science to provide evidence-based recommendations
  • conducting workshops, seminars, and educational sessions for athletes, teams, and individuals interested in improving their nutritional knowledge
  • maintaining accurate and organized client records, keeping client confidentiality as a top priority
  • adhering to professional ethics and standards in all aspects of practice
  • create the strategy, frameworks & guardrails to guide the total commercial teams and supplier partners when curating and creating new products
  • the same strategy & frameworks will be used to review the existing catalogue against as part of the total product transformation
  • collaborate with the science team, to ensure nutrition & science direction is fully aligned and we continue to futureproof our strategies and plans
  • you will translate complicated science into easy to understand and compelling product benefits and claims
  • work with the new product development team and nutritionists to use your nutritional expertise & understanding of the latest developments in ingredients and technologies to help the formulations of new food, beverage and products
  • represent the client externally as a subject matter expert: Develop relationships with key external stakeholders
  • you will work with the product developers and buyers to develop compelling product propositions and strong reasons to believe based on strong technical insight, competitor, and market knowledge
  • to attend and participate in multidisciplinary meetings, raising concerns and requesting referrals to other healthcare professionals, or further investigations as required
  • carry out nutritional assessments to determine nutritional problem
  • responsible for ensuring nutrition information is available for all products/ingredients and recipes
  • managing our nutrition analysis programme; Saffron
