  • A Level 3 full and relevant qualification in Childcare such as EYE, NVQ, CACHE or recognised equivalent

Responsibility


  • room's Admin- Planning, Risk Assessment, Reports, organisation of room, mentoring
  • implementing your own ideas- arranging the room, researching new activities, implementing training, outings, problem solving and team management
  • SEND- SEND responsibilities for the baby room, attending training, training staff, 1:1 with SEN children, parent meetings etc

  • leading a room of children aged from 14 to 24 months and supporting staff to deliver Froebelian practice

  • act as a key worker supporting children's development
  • create fun and engaging activities suitable to the age range of the children
  • build strong partnerships with parents, working together to support children
  • meet each child's individual needs by supporting their physical, emotional, social and intellectual development
  • to ensure operational policies and procedures implemented are adhered to, ensuring relevant legislation is met
  • uphold high standards across the nursery, including practice, environment and resources to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • ensure appropriate planning and assessment is accurately maintained for key children
  • good knowledge and compliance of Health and Safety, Safeguarding, EYFS and Ofsted regulations
  • be willing to be part of the leadership team for continuous progression within the company
