Requirements

NVQ Level 3
please note these positions fall INSIDE IR35
at least 3 years’ experience in a complex electro - mechanical assembly environment
NVQ level 3 or equivalent in mechanical, manufacturing engineering or similar technical qualifications
experience on plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, cars or similar equipment
plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment
excellent communication skills
engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
IT literate
ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
full, UK driving license - essential
apprentice trained Mechanical Engineer or HNC qualified
mechanically biased
mechanical bias
manufacturing background - Heavy industry preferred
apprentice trained or have a full recognised qualification

order spares when necessary

on behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Specialist Mechanical Technician on an initial 12 - month contract
my client is looking for a Mechanical Technician Panels to join on them on a 6 month contract
as the Specialist Mechanical Technician, you will work within a project team to assemble and test satellites
ideally you will be a Mechanical technician with electrical experince also
to be certified as competent in the required skills as identified by the area skills matrix
test, repair and Overhaul of Aircraft components, such as Latches, sliding tables, drain masts, Seats and other mechanical components
to undertake production activities in the required timescale in line with the production plan
working in accordance with technical publications such as CMMs & AMMs
to embrace change with a positive mindset
fault find down to component level
